Hudson Cook partner Noonan to speak at Equipment Finance Connect
Jean Noonan, partner at law firm Hudson Cook, will join Equipment Finance Connect 2025 to discuss best practices for dealers and lenders to navigate the modern compliance landscape in a presentation on Thursday, May 15, at 9:45 a.m.

Noonan will join Mehul Madia, special counsel at law firm Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton’s Washington office, for the session “Navigating the Regulatory Compliance Landscape: Lender and Dealer Perspectives,” to discuss:
- Protecting customer data to remain in compliance with the FTC’s safeguards rule;
- Managing compliance workflows; and
- Navigating fair lending rules.
A former executive with the FTC, Hudson Cook’s Noonan led the agency’s enforcement of consumer financial services laws and served as general counsel of the Farm Credit Administration for a decade. She has testified before Congress on consumer financial services legislation and is active in professional organizations including the American College of Consumer Financial Services Lawyers, where she is president. Noonan was appointed to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s Taskforce on Federal Consumer Financial Law in 2020 and remains engaged in leadership roles within the field.
