H&R Agri-Power president Steve Hunt joins fireside chat at Equipment Finance Connect

Steve Hunt, president of Kentucky-based farm equipment dealership H&R Agri-Power, will discuss the state of the agricultural equipment leasing business and overall industry trends in a fireside chat at the 2024 Equipment Finance Connect conference on Monday, May 6, at 9:05 a.m. at the Omni Nashville hotel in Tennessee.  

Equipment Finance Connect is the first event in the industry to offer equipment vendors one-on-one access to finance providers, as well as fostering F&I best practices in the industry.

With nearly 30 years of experience in leadership positions at H&R Agri-Power, beginning as vice president in 1995, Hunt will discuss best practices for agricultural dealers, strategy and how to cope with turbulent origination trends. 

In addition to his work with H&R Agri-Power, Hunt is also a partner in two farming operations, both based in Kentucky. He is also a board member of Agri-Chem, a provider of agricultural products and services to Western Kentucky.  

Hunt, who has been a board member of the National Equipment Dealers Association since January 2018, also serves on the boards of the Kentucky Small Grain Growers Association, the Christian County Water District Board and Agri-Chem, a provider of agricultural products and services to Western Kentucky. 

H&R Agri-Power, launched in 1993, operates 21 dealership locations across six states and employs nearly 625 people. It sells and supports numerous brands including: New Holland, Kubota, Stihl and Kuhn, and offers financing options through a variety of partners.
