John began his finance career directly out of college in the banking industry.  While rising through the ranks in banking, he specialized in commercial underwriting and lending.  During this time, John earned an MBA in Finance and Economics from Carlow University.  After nearly 10 years in banking, John shifted his focus to the equipment finance industry. 

After joining Anderson Equipment Company in 2018, John took control of the finance responsibilities and drew on his previous industry experience to deliver results for their customers.  The Anderson footprint covers a vast array of industries including construction, mining, and forestry.  These vastly different industries create complexities in the underwriting and loan approval processes.  John relies heavily on the strength of his partnerships with captive finance companies, banks, and independent lenders to connect customers with their financial solutions. 

John was honored to be named to Equipment Finance News’ “Equipment Finance Executives to Watch in 2024.”  John strives to constantly absorb more information about the equipment industry as a whole, to better serve customers. 

Outside of the office, John devotes his time to his family.  He enjoys coaching his two sons’ baseball and hockey teams with his wife.  John currently resides in Pittsburgh, PA and continues to enjoy the outdoors.
