Stephen Anderson is Director of Originations at BMO Commercial Bank, based in Chicago. In his role, Stephen works with companies who provide loans and leasing options to businesses- by offering working capital lines of credit to those businesses in an industry commonly known as lender finance. Lender financing is a popular way for lenders to keep growing their portfolios.  BMO’s credit facilities are asset-based, ranging from $30MM – $200MM. Stephen’s career began in 1997 with Wells Fargo/Norwest, working in consumer finance. In 2003, Stephen joined First Horizon Bank as a business development officer for the Asset Based Lending group- with a focus in lender finance. In 2018, Stephen opened a middle market banking office for JPMorgan Chase in Memphis, TN. After the pandemic, Stephen moved to BMO to lead new business for the Specialty Finance group. Beyond his professional achievements, Stephen is deeply committed to community service, actively participating in local committees, including Kids Ministry at Holy Community Church.
